5-7 years of national/international firm experience
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
SIGNIFICANT EXPERIENCE WITH:
Private placement securities offerings
Venture capital and private equity transactions
M&A
(Need to see a deal sheet to verify)
familiarity with one or more of:
Employee compensation
Transactional tax
Employment and labor law
Licensing
Commercial contracting
Privacy
Client Industries
Software, fintech, ai, biotech, pharma, medical device, healthcare, and other technology-focused clients
Skills
Documented success managing deals
Strong communication and interpersonal skills showing client empathy
Experience training and managing junior associates
Detail orientation
Efficient and strong work ethic
Location
San Diego is preferred however candidate location is flexible.
Credentials
J.D.
Active membership in CA State Bar.
Strong academic background from nationally ranked law school
